In continuation of its efforts to widen the scope of the Digital Repository relating to Studies and Reports on States and the Union, the Forum for State Studies is presenting a database relating to Indian States. The objective of this database is to facilitate citizens to access basic information relating to Indian States at one place. To start with, data relating to Indian States is presented in five sections. Macroeconomic indicators are presented in Section-I, while demographic indicators are presented in Section-II. Fiscal indicators, information relating to Union State fiscal relations and inequalities across States are presented in Sections- III, IV and V, respectively.
